They say that a true value of a man is determined by his shoe wear. Good shoes look wonderful in a man. The concept of high heels is not only limited to the ladies, what we would say was traditional reserved for the women.

Many will cringe or laugh at the idea of men in high/elevated shoes but it is something the modern man will have to embrace. There might be blogs that strongly oppose it and refer to it as, 'gender violence'. I do believe it is still a matter of choice and as the old adage goes, 'if you can't beat them, join them.'

pale_o from around the world have a good point. If it is the trend so be it. But some people are fixated and there minds are fixed to the thought of girls wearing hing heels and it is strictly for them as well..

Well in early times as we can see in some history books, people most particularly in elite class wears shoes with elevation.

But as to my personal preference, I still would not want to see men walking on a high heeled shoes, no no no..

Of course you would not expect the same high heels women wear to be on men. That would paint them in bad light or even spoil the whole look.

The fact that this trend has been there for a long time points to a society that is a afraid to try out things or is angled towards the norm of doing things.

Unfortunately, society plays a big role in dictating what the 'in thing' becomes.

Again, we live in a society that is so hell bent on dictating the norm of things. You will then find that a majority of folks will normally embrace what is trendy and fashionable too. I guess that if you are not a celebrity of some sort, you can get away with some of the gaffes that no one in the limelight cannot even consider doing. It is the same with trying out what society has yet not approved. You will easily be dismissed as not going with the times. Enough of society placing us in boxes.

Society really plays a big role in dictating what is in and what is not. the fact always makes us wear what we are wearing despite the fact that those stuffs doesn't fit on some of us the way it fits on the other.

The reason why there are fashion gurus is to make us wear how they want us to wear. I actually don't care on annual fashion forecast. It sucks.

I could see it very easily, but that does not mean that I am going to be one that would condone, men wearing high heel shoes. It is absolutely bizarre to see, and it is totally and utterly beside me,

I think it is sick for men to wear high heels. And to think that guys are a little more heavier than women, imagine them walking on high heels on the street, I am seeing all of them wrecking the heels as they walk. Hahaha.

I think high heels should be for women only, and not to be worn by men. I will surely laugh if I see a man wearing high heeled shoes.

Yeah, I really have to agree on that Rica. Maybe simply because we are living in this time where high heels are just for girls and men who are wearing such would be questioned when it comes to their true gender. But on the early times, men do wear high heels. Fashion is the one responsible for dictating whether a certain kind of clothing or shoes is not that good.
