I have heard that you shouldn't wear used shoes because shoes take the shape of the person's feet over time. If you try to wear someone else's shoes, it will be uncomfortable and even cause pain.

Basically, if the shoes are heavily worn, they can hurt your feet, but this goes for your own shoes as well as used ones. The more I think about it, the more I am inclined to start looking for used shoes.

Well, I don't think it would cause pain not unless the previous owner of that shoe has a feet size of a baby, then good luck on how you fit your feet there. I also think that you will just feel uncomfortable if indeed you try wearing use show especially if the shoe is too loose or too tight. And for crying out loud why buy a used shoe when you can avail new shoes.

I do recommeded if you do purchase used shoes, make sure you properly clean them to protect yourself.Now inreference to your feet hurting in result of used shoes, perhaps it may be a wrong size shoe for you.

Why would you buy or even wear a shoe that doesn't fit you. Of course if indeed you are going to buy one of these used shoes then it means you'll try to fit them first. You are not some demented individual whom will buy a baby shoes even though you have ten times the size of that of an infants shoe. Sorry but i do not agree with what Elba is saying. It's okay to buy a used one only if you are sure about it and it fits you perfectly.

I think it is silly to think the way elba does. if you are to buy new shoes, expect them to be a little painful on the feet. Once you've wear those shoes oftentimes, you'll feel more comfortable and you can actually feel it becoming more softer. If you are inclined into buying old shoes, you will sooner or later develop athletes foot and other foot stinking diseases. EEEWWWW... If your afraid to have blisters, then buy band aids...

You and Elba are thinking more or less along similar lines anyway Killua, at least where it is that borrowing and or buying old shoes are concerned. What Elba is saying is that other people's shoes tend to feel different and most times uncomfortable on one's foots, as the shoe takes the shape of each individual's, individual foot. Do you see the issue clearer?
