Are there used shoes store on the internet?

To answer your question Tery, yes there is a used shoe store on the internet. CheapUsedShoes.com provides just that geared towards women, men and children as well as infants. Gently worn shoes are much more desirable than so-called "thrashed" used shoes. Used women's shoes are actually a very popular item on the internet because they can be bought at a fraction of the cost, and many of the owners clean them before they send them to the new owner/buyer. If not, the website also has an article on the nav bar of how to "Clean & Disinfect Used Shoes". I hope this reply finds you well.

Thanks I got some cool shoes!

How are they disinfected? Do they smell like bad perfume?

I am just wondering, why are you looking for "used" shoes? Is that some kind of a fetish? Hahahaha, nah! Honestly, why? Why don't you try bargain or flea market shops offering or selling shoes? It is a lot cleaner than "used" shoes, you can even haggle with the price, well the quality part, I am not so sure but basing from my haggling experience the shoes are in a pretty good quality if you ask me. Try flea markets online. I am sure there are a lot of what you're looking for there.

Haha jimmi i'm sure they disinfect the shoes. I would hope so at least. That'd be gross, wearing someones old shoes that havent been cleaned.

did you try ebay? they have all kinds of used stuff..

if you want, you can buy my old shoes from me!

I have to agree with Andy, I'll have to go with flea markets or online shops rather than used shoes. The question is how sure can you be that those shoes are disinfected? Also, "real" shopping tends to be more healthier than online shopping. It is more easier than online shopping and no additional shipping cost, if you truly want to save those hard earned cash.

Huh? The last thing anyone would dare to do is to buy some used shoe from a person who don't know how to communicate well. (referring to Will)

How do you know new shoes are not infected with germs? How do you know the condition of someone else's feet that tried them on?

Why are you so obsessed with germs anyhow?

If you are looking for old shoes try ebay or also try your locsl threft store.

Why are yu looking for used shoes if yu dn't mind me asking? I personally wouldn't wear a used pair of shoes because you never know what kind of person tat you are getting them from.

here is a website that will help you with your used clothing..

Do you know of anybody buying used shoes and getting foot fungus?

Hahaha that sure was funny Thomas. Why choose a used shoe when you can avail a rather clean good brand new ones? If you are concern about the prices then you could just ask for a "cheap" shoes rather than a used one. Even though how well they sugar coat a used shoe as merchandise the fact would still remain... it is a shoe worn by some one and who knows what skin disease or odor you might get from one?

Comment #15 Jimmi from New York (Contact Member) -

With new shoes... what are the health risks? Chemicals used in the manufacturing process might seep into your body through your feet. That new shoe "smell" might well be toxic too.

With used shoes hopefully, those smells and chemicals will have long dissipated! How long do you thing germs can survive in shoes? Don't you think a few sprays of Lysol (ugh!) would take care of that?

Why fill up the landfills with perfect good, but worn shoes?

I am not to sure about buying used shoes, I know if somebody in my family or one of my close friends gave me used shoes I would wear them, but I am not to sure about getting and wearing used shoes from a stranger.

If anyone wants to know how to clean used shoes there is a step by step cleaning process on the first link I used to clean my friends old shoes. It worked very well for me.

"Why are you so obsessed with germs anyhow? " - I think it is not the germs people are worried about. It is the various skin disease or odors one might acquire from the shoes of the previous owner of the shoe. We are just being careful of our health unlike you who;ll just say yes to everything as long as it is "cheap" or "environmental". If you don't want to add up to land fills then I suggest that you don't wear any shoes or slippers.

I don't mind buying and even wearing used shoes. I am sure that they have disinfected it before putting it up for sale or auction. Come on guys, have a common sense will ya, do you think a consumer will buy a wasted and stinky shoes? Of course not, that is why I think the merchandisers will go the extra mile to disinfect these shows to own a couple of bucks, and why not? we are still in recession, right?
